Themes in Caribbean History
Key themes in the making of the Caribbean. Topics may include slavery and emancipation, Indian and Chinese migration, colonialism, the independence movement, and race relations. (Field d)Prerequisite: a 2000-level history course or third-year standing and 1.0 credit in history.
Lectures three hours a week.
