The Post-Soviet States: A Geographic Perspective
A general review of the physical, social and economic geography of the Soviet Union and successor states, with detailed analyses of selected topics related to social and population conditions, resources development and environmental problems, including comparisons with North America.Prerequisite: third-year standing.
Lectures three hours a week.
