Social Impact of Transformation in the Post-Communist Era
Political, economic and social changes that have accompanied the collapse of the Berlin Wall. The role of society in these political upheavals and the impact of the end of the Cold War on reform in Western and developing countries.Prerequisite: normally restricted to students entering the first year of a B.A. program.
Seminars three hours a week.
