Regulation of the Food Industry
Regulation of the food industry with particular emphasis on Canadian regulations. Advertising, labelling, packaging, Food additives, supplements and fortifications. Regulation of organic, genetically modified and irradiated foods. Inspection, enforcement and compliance.Pre-requisite: ECON 3300.
Lectures three hours a week.
