Geology of Human Origins
The origin and evolution of our species from geological, biological and cultural perspectives. The course traces human ancestry from our primate roots through time and changing environments, and explores controversies, frauds, and misperceptions.Prerequisite: any 1000- or 2000-level Earth Sciences course.
Lectures three hours per week. May be offered in alternate years.
