ERTH 2404 [0.5 credit]
Engineering Geoscience
Applications of the basic concepts of geology, earth materials and earth processes to practical engineering and environmental science. Topics include rock and soil mechanics, slope stability, hydrogeology, geological hazards, and site investigations. Overview of related geophysical methods.Precludes additional credit for ERTH 2414 and ERTH 1006.
Prerequisites: completion of first year of any B.Eng. program.
Lectures three hours a week and a laboratory three hours a week.
