Introduction to Epic
Study of selected texts defined as epic. Discussion of the conventions of the genre. May include classical or British texts, primary or secondary epics, and/or texts inspired by the epic tradition.Prerequisite: 1.0 credit in ENGL at the 1000 level or permission of the department.
Lectures three hours a week.
