Public Economics: Expenditures
A discussion of the theory of government expenditures and an examination of empirical attempts to quantify the theory. Examination of current topics such as expenditures and grants in the Canadian federation.Precludes additional credit for ECON 3403, ECON 3408 (no longer offered), and ECON 4402 (no longer offered).
Prerequisite: ECON 2030 with a grade of C- or higher or ECON 2003 (no longer offered) with a grade of C- or higher.
Lectures three hours a week.
