CHIN 1110 [1.0 credit]
Intensive First-Year Mandarin Chinese
For students with no knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. Oral skills; basic reading and writing skills. Placement test for non-literate speakers of other Chinese languages. Not open to students already literate in any Chinese language. Compulsory attendance.Precludes additional credit for CHIN 1100 (no longer offered), CHIN 1010 and CHIN 1020.
Eight hours a week (one term).
