Quantum Chemistry
Classical equations of motion, harmonic oscillator, diatomic and polyatomic molecules, molecular mechanics, quantum mechanics, Schrödinger equation and wave functions, vibrational spectra, hydrogen atom, quantum numbers, electronic spectra, bonding in small molecules.Prerequisites: CHEM 2103, MATH 2007 and MATH 2008.
Lectures and problems three hours a week.
