Bioinformatics
A practical exploration in the application of information technology to biochemistry and molecular biology. Insight into biological knowledge discovery via molecular structure and function prediction, comparative genomics and biological information management. (Also listed as COMP 3308.)Prerequisites: BIOC 2200 or BIOL 2200; or permission of the Institute.
Lecture 1.5 hours a week, computer workshop three hours a week.
