Canadian Historical Art
A survey of historical Canadian art, examining the intersections between craft and fine art, amateur and professional artists, art training, gender, nationalism, regionalism and ethnicity. Local and national collections in Ottawa may be drawn on extensively.Prerequisite: second-year standing or permission of the Discipline.
Lectures three hours a week.
