Urban Utopias
Urban utopias throughout history, with emphasis on the 20th century. Garden Cities, anti-urbanism and radical decentralization, the city in the region, Italian Rationalist cities, Le Corbusier and CIAM, post-WWII New Towns (England, Scandinavia and the US), Sustainable Urbanism.Prerequisites: ARCU 4600.
Lecture three hours per week.
