Science and Technology Studies
A survey of the changing nature of knowledge, information and the social shaping of science and technologies and their impact on perception, notions of truth, forms of interaction and modes of relations at scales from the local to the global.Also listed as SOCI 2035.
Precludes credit for SOCI 2400.
Prerequisites: ANTH 1001 or ANTH 1002, or ANTH 1003 [1.0], or 1.0 credit at the 1000-level in SOCI, ENGL, GEOG, HIST, HUMR, INDG, PSCI, RELI or WGST.
Lectures and workshop three hours a week.
