Teaching Writing in School and the Workplace
Introduction to approaches for teaching writing in elementary and secondary school, in university, and in the workplace, with a focus on socio-cultural theories of language and learning. Discussion of applications of these approaches to classroom and workplace teaching. (Also listed as ENGL 4145.)Prerequisite: third-year standing, or permission of the instructor.
Lectures three hours a week.
