ESL Literacy
The nature of everyday literacy and literacy skills. Analyzing the structure of everyday literacy texts and demands. Issues in literacy for second-language learners.Precludes additional credit for LALS 4207 (no longer offered).
Prerequisite: third-year standing in Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies, or in Linguistics, or enrolment in the CTESL program, or permission of the instructor.
Lectures three hours a week.
