History of Political Thought
Western political thought from classical times to the nineteenth century: Plato, Aristotle, Machiavelli, Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau and other thinkers.
Prerequisite: second-year standing.
Lectures two hours a week, tutorials one hour a week.
