Intermediate Networking
Dealing with networks of greater complexity, particularly in the access layer. LAN switching (including VLANs, trunking, VTP, interVLAN routing, Spanning Tree and related protocols), network design considerations, and an introduction to wireless theory and implementation.
Prerequisite:
NET 1005.
Lectures three hours a week, tutorial/laboratory two hours a week.
