Students will discover the many literatures of the francophone world (Europe, Middle East, Canada, Africa, Caribbean) and explore how the question of identity is treated by the various writers. Critical approaches to literature. Reading strategies and essay-writing.Prerequisite: Grade 12 extended or immersion French; francophone students, or by permission of the instructor. Seminar three hours a week. |
