Corporate Finance
An examination of the major issues in corporate finance and applied financial management. Topics include: introduction to portfolio theory, the capital asset pricing model, cost of capital, capital structure and dividend policy, lease financing, capital budgeting under uncertainty, mergers, and consolidations. (Also listed as
BUSI 3500.)
Prerequisites:
ECON 2505 with a grade of C- or higher,
ECON 2002 with a grade of C- or higher, and
ECON 2202 (or equivalent) with a grade of C- or higher.
Lectures three hours a week.
