Integrated Database Systems
Database definitions, applications, architectures. Conceptual design based on entity-relationship, object-oriented models. Relational data model: relational algebra and calculus, normal forms, data definition and manipulation languages. Database management systems: transaction management, recovery and concurrency control. Current trends: object-oriented, knowledge-based, multimedia, distributed databases.Summer session: some of the courses listed in this Calendar are offered during the summer.
