Advanced Dynamics
Developing and applying the governing equations of motion for discrete and continuous mechanical systems. Includes Newton-Euler and Lagrangian formulations; classical and finite element approaches for continuous systems; and linear stability, frequency response, and propagation solution methods.Precludes additional credit for MECH 5500 (if taken 2001-2002, 2002-2003).
