Issues in Development in Africa
Analysis of structures and processes of political, social, and economic change in intertropical Africa at scales ranging from the intrahousehold and local community to the state and international system. An objective will be to integrate gender and the environment into analyses which draw on theories of political economy.Summer session: some of the courses listed in this Calendar are offered during the summer.
