Contaminant Fate Mechanisms
Mechanisms and chemical properties influencing the fate of toxic contaminants in environmental systems; liquid-gas partitioning and mass transfer, liquid-solid partitioning, abiotic and biotic degradation of toxics. Fate of toxics in wastewater collection and treatment systems. Treatment of residual streams; sludges, air streams. Mechanisms influencing the fate of toxic contaminants in aquatic and subsurface environments.Summer session: some of the courses listed in this Calendar are offered during the summer.
