Advanced Applications in Mass Spectrometry
Detailed breakdown of the physical, electrical and chemical operation of mass spectrometers. Applications in MS ranging from the analysis of small molecules to large biological macromolecules. Descriptions of the use of mass spectrometry in industry as well as commercial opportunities in the field. Also listed at the undergraduate level, with different requirements, as CHEM 4302, for which additional credit is precluded.Lectures and seminars three hours a week.
