Digital Television
Television standards: NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV. Sampling and quantization of television signals: rec 601-1. Digital video compression: inter and intra-frame methods, spatial and transform/wavelet coding; H.261 and MPEG standards. Video conferencing systems and other digital video processing applications.Summer session: some of the courses listed in this Calendar are offered during the summer.
