Teletraffic Engineering
Congestion phenomena in telephone systems, and related telecommunications networks and systems, with an emphasis on the problems, notation, terminology, and typical switching systems and networks of the operating telephone companies. Analytical queuing models and applications to these systems.Prerequisite: SYSC 5503 (ELG 5503) or ELG 5119 (EACJ 5109) or equivalent.
