Design of Real-Time and Distributed Systems
Characteristics of real-time and distributed systems. Modern midware systems, such as CORBA, DCE, RMI for building distributed applications: advantages and disadvantages. Analyzing designs for robustness, modularity, extensibility, portability and performance. Implementation issues. Major course project.Prerequisites: SYSC 3303 and SYSC 5708 (ELG 6178) or similar experience.
