Surfaces and Coatings
Surface characteristics of solid materials and surface degradation/failure mechanisms including wear, fretting, oxidation, corrosion, and erosion are introduced. Coating methods including PVD, CVD, laser, thermal spray and electrochemical deposition are discussed in the context of failure prevention measures.Summer session: some of the courses listed in this Calendar are offered during the summer.
