Dynamics and Aerodynamics of Flight
Static stability theory. Euler's equations for rigid body motion; the linearized equations of motion; stability derivatives and their estimation. Longitudinal and lateral dynamic response of an aircraft to control and disturbance. Also offered at the undergraduate level, with different requirements, as AERO 4308, for which additional credit is precluded.Summer session: some of the courses listed in this Calendar are offered during the summer.
