Associative Data Structures and Advanced Databases
Concepts and advanced topics in the design, implementation and analysis of physical storage schemes with emphasis on their application to specialized database and information retrieval systems. Topics include: associative searching techniques; multidimensional storage structures; algorithms for spatial data modeling; formulation and optimization of database queries.Prerequisites: COMP 3005 and COMP 3804, or the equivalent.
