Anthropology of the Body, Health, Illness and Healing
Issues and applications in medical anthropology. Topics may include the sociocultural meanings inscribed on the body; cultural perceptions of the prevention, causes and treatment of illness; social dimensions of the illness experience; and the political economy of health.Summer session: some of the courses listed in this Calendar are offered during the summer.
