Broadbent-Jewett International Bursaries

In recognition of the leadership of J. Edward Broadbent in Canadian politics and in recognition of the contributions of Pauline Jewett to international and academic affairs, the New Democratic Party of Canada has established two bursaries in their honour to assist students in need. Valued at $1,000 each, these bursaries are awarded annually to foreign students who have been accepted to the M.A. pro gram in International Affairs but are in need of financial assistance in order to be able to study in Canada. The recipients will be selected each year by the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, on the recommendation of the Director of the School of International Affairs. Established in 1992 by the New Democratic Party of Canada.
